Hōhepa is always on the lookout for keen, hard-working people to join our team and assist in our vision of ‘every life fully lived’. We employ people in a range of roles, including residential support (working with both adults and children/young people), agricultural, workshop/craft operations and support, maintenance, school, administration and management positions.
For many of our roles the most important things are your attitude and approach to work (a good sense of humour is great too!); if you have qualifications and experience they are appreciated but we provide on the job and formal training. Shift work and unsocial hours are a reality for many of our teams, as we are a 24/7 organisation.
We employ a multicultural workforce, with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. What all of our staff have in common is an interest in the Hōhepa community and a passion for supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
We are committed to workforce development and achieving a healthy and safe work environment through good communication and support. Every life fully lived applies just as much to our staff as to the people we support.
